Lindsay Lohan‘s hopes for a plea deal that did not involve jail time went out the window yesterday. At a hearing for her felony grand theft case, the judge told Lindsay any plea deal she accepts will include time behind bars.

“I’m going to tell you, this case does involve jail time time period,” said Judge Keith Schwartz. “If this is resolved in front of me, you will be going to jail,” Schwartz added, “I treated everybody the same. I don’t care that you are Lindsay Lohan, what I look at is where are the changes.”
TMZ reports the D.A. Danette Meyers has offered Lindsay a deal that would involve her spending six months in jail. The judge yesterday indicated that he did not think Lindsay’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley would accept the offer, which seems to back a source who told TMZ that Lindsay plans to go to trial.
If she is found guilty she faces a year in jail. Lindsay is due back in court on March 10. Kennedy thinks, “No matter what, she will not do a lot of jail time.” Maybe she can wish for to many people to go to jail so she can get an early release.
